Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Associate to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in materials handling, shipping and receiving, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The role involves heavy lifting, operating forklifts, and working with warehouse management systems to ensure efficient logistics and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of materials Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records Handle materials safely, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Support with construction-related tasks as required, including organising storage areas and maintaining the warehouse space Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and report any faults or issues promptly Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as construction or materials handling Valid forklift licence or certification is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge or experience working with mechanical equipment is advantageous Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
