We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of materials and contributing to the overall productivity of our facility. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
Maintain accurate records of inventory using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a clean working environment.
Utilise mechanical knowledge to assist in basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Support construction-related activities as needed, demonstrating flexibility in role responsibilities.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
Strong skills in materials handling and logistics processes.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
