We are a well-established financial advice business expanding our services to include
professional will writing and estate planning
. As part of this new offering, we are seeking a
STEP-qualified Will Writer
to lead and develop this area of the business. This role offers the flexibility of being employed or self-employed, depending on the successful candidate's circumstances.
The Role
The Will Writer will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients, drafting bespoke wills, and supporting them with estate planning needs. As this is a new area within our practice, the role is ideal for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial, and keen to shape and grow the service offering.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting and reviewing wills to ensure they are legally valid and reflect client intentions.
Advising clients on estate planning, inheritance tax, trusts, and related matters.
Conducting detailed fact-finding discussions with clients to understand their circumstances and objectives.
Working alongside financial advisers to provide holistic client solutions.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and STEP professional standards.
Managing your own caseload and building long-term client relationships.
Requirements
STEP qualification
(essential).
Strong background in will writing and estate planning.
Good knowledge of UK wills, probate, and trusts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Entrepreneurial mindset to help establish and grow this service line.

Base Pay: 24,000.00-30,000.00 per year
