Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include establishing and leading the Wills & Probate department, managing wills, probate, estate planning, and administration, developing and growing the practice, and providing excellent client management and leadership.
Required Skills
Proven experience in building or managing a Wills & Probate department, strong technical expertise in wills, probate, estate planning, and administration, a strategic mindset with the ability to develop and grow the practice, excellent client management and leadership skills.
Strong experience in
probate applications, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration
Expertise in
Contested Probate
Expertise in
drafting wills, LPAs, and handling contentious probate matters
Familiarity with
Court of Protection work
Ability to mentor junior solicitors and build a successful team
Preferred Skills
STEP qualification or working towards it
Experience with trust creation and management
Strong network and business development skills
Knowledge of digital assets and modern estate planning strategies
