We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window & Door Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of windows and possess a strong understanding of construction techniques. This role requires attention to detail, and proficiency in using both hand and power tools. The Technician will work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and quality workmanship.
Duties
Repair, service, and replace windows, doors, locks, hinges, seals, and handles.
Sealant/silicone work and draught-proofing.
Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Window Installer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
Strong skills in fabrication, building, and installation techniques.
Knowledge of plastering, painting, and general carpentry is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
