Starlight Windows Ltd are a market leading Windows, Door and Conservatory installation business based in Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham.
We are seeking a full time, fully skilled UPVC window and door, fitter ideally with warm roof and Conservatory experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the window and door industry, have pride in there work ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
This role can be either Directly Employed or on a Self Employed basis. Working Hours 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday based out of our premises in Newton Aycliffe.
Duties
Install and fit windows, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
Measure and accurately cut associated trim, sills and window / door hardware.
Perform repairs on existing windows where required, including replacing DGUs.
Work with various materials such as PVC, and aluminium.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to window fitting.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
