Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our window fitting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows in various building environments MAINLY DOMESTIC PROPERTIES AND DOMESTIC EXTENSIONS. WORK IS IN AND AROUND LONDON AND SOMETIMES OUTER LONDON AND KENT. The other part of the job will be to survey the jobs that are sold and to fill out the order forms with the customers job requirements and I will send these over to the suppliers. Sometimes you may need to clarify certain info with the supplier regarding the order.

Responsibilities

Measure and mark window openings accurately to ensure proper fitment Install new windows or replace existing units in accordance with project specifications and schematics Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure window frames and glass panels Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations and building codes Assist with related tasks such as plastering, masonry, or construction painting as required Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project Conduct inspections post-installation to verify quality and durability of fittings

Requirements

Proven experience in window fitting or related construction roles such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, or construction plans Additional skills in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, or construction painting are advantageous Ability to interpret technical instructions and work from detailed schematics or blueprints Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights safely Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 200.00-400.00 per day
