PART-TIME WINE ADVISOR (DIDSBURY)

We are looking for a part-time Wine Advisor to join the team at Reserve Wines Didsbury!

5+ hours per week, increasing towards Christmas and into the new year. Mostly evenings/weekend hours.

12.21 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales - follow the customers' brief and help them find the perfect wines and spirits so that when they leave, they will have been suitably informed about our products and services, happy with their purchases, and ultimately, think of Reserve Wines first when in need of wines and spirits. Help to keep our various menus fresh and current by updating listings, whether that is for dine-in or Deliveroo. Get involved in our tasting opportunities - from weekend showcases to monthly tasting events, we want you at the heart of them. We want your suggestions for which wines to open each weekend, and detailed input into our tasting events; the organisation, coordination, and co-hosting will be in your hands. Process deliveries, Deliveroo orders and general transactions with pinpoint accuracy. Report any discrepancies to you line manager. Following our food safety protocols when preparing cheeseboards according to specs. Ensure the overall look and feel of the premises is in-line with our expectations, from keeping the place spic and span to making sure the back bar, fridges and shelves are fully stocked and with up-to-date information. Keep our community spirit going by advising customers on trends, tasting events, and local interests.

REQUIREMENTS

Wine knowledge is highly desirable, WSET at any level is a definite advantage Some bar experience is desirable but we are more than happy to train you up Ability to learn our range of wines quickly Superb relationships builder

SALARY & PACKAGE

5+ hours per week, flexible hours to suit the needs of the role including evenings and weekends
