We are a wine importer and merchant based in North Yorkshire, specialising in wines from Languedoc area of France. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to grow with a new company. We are looking for an individual with experience with wine sales. Delivering excellent results-driven wine sales to grow our customer portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess WSET Level 2 Qualifications and have a proven track record within the wine industry. This role requires an individual who can manage relationships with clients and develop effective sales strategies to achieve targets and deliver.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our market presence and increase revenue.
Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Manage accounts and build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Good knowledge of wine and pairing food.
Requirements
Proven experience in a sales management role within the wine or beverage industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
WSET qualifications or similar.
Contacts within the industry to help grow sales.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
A passion for wine, with a solid understanding of wine products, trends, and consumer preferences is highly desirable.
