The Role:





This is an exciting opportunity for a Wireless & Network Engineer to become part of a team, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and Edge Networks both wired and wireless. At TIEVA, you'll lead multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously, leveraging your expertise and in-depth knowledge of edge IT technologies.



To be able to design, implement and troubleshoot wireless networks including surveying, occasional third line support/consultancy for both internal systems/users and existing external customer contracts. This role will require the candidate to be home based but will be required to attend customer locations and Head Office as and when required. The candidate must have the ability to be customer facing and be prepared to travel to customer site as and when required. Out-of-hours work will be required on a periodic basis to perform essential maintenance tasks.



The Candidate:





MUST be qualified to CCNP or CCNA and currently working towards CCNP (in any of Networking, Wireless, Security) ECSE Survey In-depth knowledge of wireless network solutions, having to ability to survey, design and implement WLAN solutions using specialist surveying tools, e.g., Ekahau. Knowledge of one or more of the following Wireless/Switching networking manufacturers: + Aruba (including ClearPass)
+ Cisco/Meraki
+ Fortinet
5+ years' experience in Technical Support, providing assistance via phone and email Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across a range of technical issues Solid understanding of networking (routing, switching, VLANs, security, wireless) Familiarity with network monitoring tools and platforms Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and supports others Logical thinker with a methodical approach to problem-solving Able to meet deadlines and maintain quality under pressure Keen to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
