Job Description

The regulatory engineering team leads and enables every line of business to be sold worldwide by ensuring each product meets all the regulatory laws in every country, driving and evaluating every product from conception to first customer delivery, digging into the deep details of every aspect of the hardware and software features throughout the development cycle, specifying design requirements and evaluating the products to ensure compliance. Working cross-functionally globally to support internal partners and teams to help them deliver their local certifications using the local team's deliverables.



Description



The Wireless Engineer Intern is responsible for executing certification and engineering evaluation activities. The scope of these activities can vary depending on the needs of the associated project, but a keen eye for detail is critical, in capturing, analysing and presenting data. Timelines are critical, and motivation to deliver and support the team and worldwide partners to solve complex problems is vital. Plan and execute delivery of testing samples and support equipment


Ensuring internal documentation and processes are maintained and up to date


Maintain security in line with corporate security requirements



Preferred Qualifications



Experience with RF Systems design and debug activities

Experience with: wireless product development, route cause analysis and design change proposals, CE/FCC/IC certification, EMC/LVD/RE-D Directive, ETSI/3GPP Standards

Detailed knowledge of at least two of the following areas: SAR, EMC, Radiated RF testing (Cellular/Wi-Fi/BT), Conducted RF testing (Cellular/Wi-Fi/BT)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal

Good organisational skills, ability to work under own initiative and pressure

Ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods and time



Minimum Qualifications



Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic/Wireless Communications)

Good technical understanding of at least two of the following: Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G

Experience with scripting languages such as Python
