Exciting Wireman Opportunity in Central Scotland
Are you an experienced Wireman looking for your next challenge? This company is seeking skilled professionals like you to join their team and play a crucial role in a major electrical infrastructure project in Central Scotland.
The Wireman Role
As a Wireman, you will be responsible for the replacement of a 275 kV line that has been in service for decades. This is a crucial part of the transmission network, supporting the distribution of electricity in the Edinburgh area. Your duties will include:
- Performing electrical installation and commissioning work
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the transmission network
- Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality results
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations
The ideal Wireman candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in similar electrical infrastructure projects
- Proven expertise in live working in panels, with the necessary authorisations and certifications (AWP09 required)
- Strong technical skills and a commitment to safety
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities
