As the Wiring Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the production process within the Cox London workshops, specialising in wiring operations. This hands-on role involves learning, developing, and perfecting various wiring techniques while ensuring that all work meets the company's high-quality standards.
You will handle technical queries related to your field, maintain accurate records using company software systems (Hibob and Emax), and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities Include
Practice, learn, develop, and perfect Wiring processes such as required within Cox London workshops, specifically within the Wiring Team.
Handle technical queries in your specialism, ensuring quality control meets with company Standards.
Operate and keep records as required within the company HR and Production software systems: Hibob and EMAX.
Employing safe working practices during operation of equipment, notifying the need for repairs. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment, upholding company H&S Policies.
Show respect for company property, materials and consumables ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and shortages are reported.
Contribute to a happy, efficient, and co-operative production team, fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between teams, departments, and your colleagues.
Attend technical and safety training sessions.
Assist with on-site and off-site installations.
Assembling and Wiring Electrical Components
Understanding project deadlines and prioritising tasks accordingly.
Providing feedback on design or process improvements.
Reporting any issues or potential improvements to supervisors.
Inspecting wiring assemblies to ensure they meet industry standards.
Adhering to electrical codes and safety regulations.
Understanding wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Following work instructions and electrical layouts to ensure accuracy.
Communicating effectively and working collaboratively to achieve project goals.

Experienced working with cable assemblies, connections, soldering and crimping.
Knowledge of electrical principles, and safety procedures relating to the use of electricity.
Qualifications (desirable)
Technical Training or relevant experience in electrical/ electronic based fields.
