As a Wok Chef, you will ...

Set up the kitchen and stations before service, ensuring all food containers and tools are ready. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and maintain high-quality standards. Cook specific portions for each plated dish and assist with marinating, cutting, and precooking ingredients. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organised kitchen area. Utilise various Southeast Asian cooking methods such as stir-fry, steam, braise, grill, and frying with skill and precision. Work efficiently with woks and other kitchen equipment while ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and creative plating of dishes. Assist in wrapping, storing, and cleaning at the end of the shift, keeping the kitchen ready for the next service.

What We're Looking For ...

Excellent cooking skills and preferably knowledge of Chinese cuisine. Proficiency with woks, kitchen equipment, and utensils. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
