We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen environment. Responsibilities



Prepare a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations Oversee food production processes, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency Manage food preparation activities, including ingredient selection, portion control, and plating Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety standards Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimise waste Train new team members on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and company policies

Requirements



Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment Experience in food production, menu planning, and service delivery Familiarity with restaurant operations and serving procedures Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week

Work Location: In person
