We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during service hours Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times Develop new recipes and menu items in line with current culinary trends Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational costs

Skills



Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for flavour combinations and presentation Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure Good understanding of serving procedures and customer service standards Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
