We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, with experience in food production and preparation, as well as a commitment to food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage and inspire the kitchen team while ensuring a high standard of hospitality is maintained throughout our service.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Maintain food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable.
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
