Illingworth Ingham (M/cr) Ltd have been in business since 1929. We are an independent family run Timber Importer & Timber Merchant and have continued to be a successful business within the timber industry for nearly 100 years. With prospective growth plans for the future, we now have a requirement for a wood machinist to join our expert team. We have one of the largest production mills in the country, and are renowned for our quality and performance.

The Role



We are recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist to work in our Production Mill at Trafford Park. With a new moulder arriving on site this month we're looking to expand our current operations.

You will be used to working in a high-volume environment and will be able to consistently deliver results working under pressure. You should have a passion for timber manufacturing and able to work to achieve a high standard of accuracy and detail in hardwood & softwood timber mouldings, hardwood and softwood profiles. Experience on multi head moulder, i.e. Wadkin or Weinig would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience and full working knowledge of woodworking machinery. Training can be provided to develop and complement existing skills. The candidate is expected to be able to work as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative. The candidate should be committed, hardworking and is required to have excellent attendance and punctuality levels.

We would expect the candidate to comply with all company rules, policies and procedures, also to adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy and the wearing of PPE where required. (The company will provide all PPE required).

Hours



Monday to Thursday 07.15am - 4:30pm Friday 07.45am - 1:45pm

Pay:

Competitive Salary - Rate of Pay Dependent on experience
