We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing wooden components using various fabrication techniques. Duties

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements Use hand tools, power tools, and wood working equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials Fabricate components from materials according to project specifications Perform assembly, and finishing tasks to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and suggest improvements for efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking fabrication equipment Strong understanding of fabrication processes and mechanical principles Ability to read technical drawings and interpret measurements accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks Knowledge of assembly procedures and quality control standards Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
