Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile person to join our team. We are a small team, based in the heart of a working farm in Whitehill, Carmarthenshire.
We manufacture a number of furniture items including coffee tables, console tables, dining tables, bed side tables etc. This role is ideal for a self-employed carpenter looking for flexible hours.
This role requires a good attitude and a strong work ethic. It requires a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Skills
Carry out fabrication and assembly tasks e.g. cutting timber, gluing, fitting, levelling, sanding, waxing and packing. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned duties. Perform carpentry and joinery work, ensuring high-quality finishes. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools, with the ability to operate them safely. Experience in carpentry and joinery, demonstrating attention to detail.
Wage:
Wage will be dependant upon skill level. Depending on how many of the manufacturing stages can be done competently without supervision from cutting the timber through to the waxing stage. This can be developed over time for less experienced candidates.
Location:
Brynteg Farm, Whitemill, Carmarthen, SA327HG.
Roughly three miles in from either Whitemill or Peniel.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 13.10-14.00 per hour
