As we expand, we are looking for a talented WordPress Developer & Designer to join our team.

Role Overview

This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is passionate about both design and development. You'll be responsible for building, designing, and maintaining WordPress websites that balance creativity with functionality. Working closely with our team, you'll play a key part in delivering engaging digital experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop bespoke WordPress websites tailored to client needs. Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes with a strong eye for design. Ensure websites are fully responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-optimised. Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, ensuring security and performance. Collaborate with our marketing team to align websites with client branding and campaigns. Manage hosting, plugins, and integrations where required. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in WordPress development and design. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with WordPress themes, builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi), and plugins. Ability to create modern, professional, and engaging website designs. Good understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimisation. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice-to-Haves

Knowledge of WooCommerce or other eCommerce solutions. Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and digital marketing tools. Previous experience in an agency environment.

What We Offer

35,000 - 40,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on hours). Hybrid working - 2 days per week in our Haywards Heath office. Opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple industries.
