Sparks Teaching Services as
a Work Based Learning Tutor you will be responsible for a caseload of work based learners, taking them on a successful and exciting journey to achieve their planned learning programme within the targeted time frame. You will be responsible for liaising effectively between the College Faculty staff, employers and the learner to ensure the achievement of a full work based programmes in a timely and professional manner building and maintaining strong working relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
The role will involve initial assessment and the development of individual learning plans, visiting learners on the job, planning and delivering high quality training including qualifications where required, support and assessment of the programme, and the preparation for any assessment.
Tracking and monitoring the progress of the learner is essential in order to secure achievement of the programme. The post holder will use the colleges e-portfolio system form this
To ensure the college delivers an outstanding service to learners and employers, the post holder will be expected to take part in quality monitoring and continuous quality and diversity
Post holder will play a key role in engaging with relevant stakeholders to assist and support with completion of all relevant documentation and provide the link between College and employer.
Post holders are to promote the take up of apprenticeships, work based programmes and commercial courses in line with the College Growth Strategy and to proactively sustain and develop the work based business of the College in close consultation with the Head of Apprenticeships.
