Job Summary

This unpaid placement is designed to give students practical experience in bookkeeping within a professional business environment. You will work closely with our team to assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and gain insight into key accounting processes. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process invoices and payments Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Requirements

Previous knowledge within accounting Proficient in using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
