About the Role

• To work closely with the academic department and ICE (Innovation, Careers and Enterprise) teams to ensure that work placements are coordinated, approved and completed by college students.
• Carry out pre-placement health and safety visits and progress reviews of students whilst on placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships and systems that support the College work placement process, being mindful of current legislation and best practice.

About You

• Hold general qualifications at Level 3 or above, along with an IT qualification at Level 3 or higher
• Have a sound understanding of the industry or sector relevant to the placements
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using them in a professional setting
• Strong office administration skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and manage tasks effectively
• Able to prioritise workload and manage project work to meet deadlines
• Aware of Safeguarding practices and their importance within a college or educational environment
