Key Responsibilities:
Accept and manage new job allocations from client portals (e.g.,
UniClassPortal
).
Assign jobs to flooring teams based on availability, location, and skillset.
Maintain and update a rolling
5-day lookahead programme
, ensuring resource availability is maximised.
Liaise with supervisors and project managers to confirm job readiness and material requirements.
Monitor work progress and adjust schedules to address changes, delays, or resource conflicts.
Update job management systems or planning software with relevant notes and status updates.
Provide clear daily and weekly work schedules to fitting teams and office staff.
Support administrative functions including updating internal trackers and assisting with documentation.
Skills & Experience:
Strong organisational and planning abilities
Confident communicator with both operatives and management
Ability to handle changing priorities and remain calm under pressure
Experience with job management software, spreadsheets or similar planning tools
UniClassPortal
or flooring software experience (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in construction, flooring, or scheduling environments (advantageous)
