This is a remote 2 months full-time consultancy





Job Highlight:



Reporting to the Workday HCM Functional Lead, you will provide day-to-day functional support for Workday, with a focus on user assistance. This is a consulting role designed to provide light-touch support in the month before go-live and then drive post-go-live stabilization, adoption, and optimization. You will work with teams across different geographies and time zones, supporting local HR teams.



Pre-Go-Live (20%):



Assist with training preparation and documentation for HR users and hiring managers.

Provide readiness input to ensure smooth transition into go-live.

Review and validate existing user manuals by testing them against workflows, ensuring accuracy.

Provide readiness input to confirm HR preparedness.



Post-Go-Live Stabilization & Optimization (60%):



Act as the functional expert for Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Absence and Benefits, supporting adoption and optimization post-launch.

Troubleshoot issues and ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Translate Workday system language into clear business terminology for stakeholders.

Advise on quick wins and design improvements for better user experience.



Enablement & Collaboration (20%):



Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, training materials and training materials.

Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to HR staff.

Build team capability to independently manage processes in Workday.

Collaborate across global time zones to support consistency in adoption and usage.



What will you need:



Educational background in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Workday HCM certification or module training (e.g., Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation) is strongly preferred.



Experience



Hands-on involvement in both implementation/training preparation and post-go-live support for at least two different large high matrixed organizations.

Strong understanding of HCM business processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, compensation, benefits, absence).

Familiarity with data validation, security roles, and compliance processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to operate independently in moderately complex situations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.



Deliverables:



Assist with training preparation and documentation for HR users and hiring managers.

Review and validate existing user manuals by testing them against workflows, ensuring they are accurate, practical, and fully prepare users for go-live.

Provide readiness input to confirm HR preparedness for go-live.

Host dedicated office hours to provide hands-on support and address user inquiries

A short post-project summary report highlighting achievements, outstanding issues, and next steps.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

The consultancy will run from September until November 2025
