Job Description

The Workday PMO Consultant is responsible for overseeing and supporting the successful delivery of Workday projects across various service lines. This role ensures project governance, adherence to methodology, milestone tracking, and coordination of cross-functional teams on the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Delivery AssuranceProvide PMO consulting and delivery oversight on Workday projects Support the setup of program governance structures, project plans and project reporting for client projects. Monitor delivery progress against scope, timeline, and budget while advising client PMs . Coordinate across client-side, vendor-side, and internal project teams to resolve delivery issues and blockers.

Risk & Change ManagementIdentify and escalate project risks and dependencies; track risk mitigation. Drive change control processes for scope, timeline, and resource adjustment. Program Communication & Stakeholder Management Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive updates, and project/ programme-level reporting for clients. Align multiple workstreams and vendors under a cohesive delivery framework and reporting structure.

Quality Assurance & Continuous ImprovementConduct program audits, quality reviews, and lessons-learned sessions. Recommend and implement process improvements based on prior project outcomes.

Prior Experience5+ years in project management or PMO roles within Workday programmes.

Required SkillsFamiliarity with Workday implementation methodologies Skilled in using Excel, PPT, Smartsheet or MS Project for client project tracking and reporting.
