An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Pembrokeshire Operational Workforce Team.
The post plays an integral part in the Pembrokeshire Operational Workforce team, providing generalist operational workforce advice to managers and staff, ensuring services are supported in accordance with operational objectives, and supporting the Workforce team in their roles, as well as supporting the Assistant Head of Workforce, the Senior Workforce Managers, Workforce Manager, and Senior Workforce Advisors within the Pembrokeshire County , and to contribute to the delivery of workforce objectives by working closely with the Workforce Team providing professional generalist workforce support, within the remit of policies and procedures, current employment law and generalist best practice.
To take an active, operational role in working with managers across all services to proactively manage sickness absence.
Support the Workforce Team with disciplinary, Respect and Resolution, any other investigations, cases and hearings, providing advice and support to line managers within the remit of Health Board policy and employment law.
To advise on employment contracts, entitlements and national and local NHS terms and conditions.
Develop an expertise in employment law and HR best practice.
To support the Head of Workforce with specified project work as it may arise from time to time, including issues around national initiatives/ projects that may necessitate representing the Health Board with external bodies.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh
and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
