As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee:
Live rota and workforce planning using electronic systems (e.g., Nourish)
High-volume recruitment and on boarding and training processes (e.g., Careskills Academy)
Delivery and tracking of induction, training, and staff development
Compliance with employment law, CQC/Ofsted frameworks, and internal standards
Management of complex HR cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability process liaising with our external employment law specialists Hettle Andrews)
Continuous improvement of HR policy and procedures
The ideal candidate will have
:
Minimum
CIPD Level 3-5 qualification
(or working towards or experience in)
A strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and safeguarding
A
proven track record
of managing HR caseloads and advising service managers
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail and High IT proficiency
Health and social care experience of case management and care planning systems
A
full UK driving licence
and access to a car
Desirable experience includes:
Policy development and updates in response to legal or sector changes
Understanding of
care sector regulations
and contract compliance (e.g., Ofsted, CQC)
Delivery of HR training or coaching to managers
Involvement in organisational change programmes (e.g., TUPE, restructure)
