28,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Workforce Planner. The Workforce Planner is a new role being established for a prestigious WJ contract, the Museums Consortium. The job holder will have national responsibility for efficient and effective workforce planning for the contract. The Workforce Planner will play a pivotal role in delivering our commitments to the customer and achieving our Key Performance Indicators





A Focused, conscientious, proactive and professional individual who has an eye for detail working in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a large amount of proactive and pressured reactive work and requires an individual that can think on their feet and problem solve while remaining calm. The role will also require staff communication, both written and spoken so will require the job holder to uphold company values in all dialogue.



This role is very flexible with the shift times/patterns as we are open to people working five days out of seven including weekends and shift times will vary between 06.00am-21.00pm




About the Role:





As a Workforce Planneryou will be responsible for:


Management of annual leave requests within the specified process while accurately recording approved requests.


Ensure all absence is accurately recorded via Timegate.

Managing the relief and casual workforce to ensure effective utilisation and reduction of agency usage.

Schedule and cover the workforce for mandatory training and license requirements.

Ensure Timegate is a complete reflection of hours delivered and consistently maintained.

Create and maintain close relationships with operational colleagues to ensure handover of information.

Work closely with the relevant support functions in matters relating to the workforce planning.

Support with any other administrative functions in relation to people and scheduling.

Achieve Key Performance Indicators relating to workforce planning

To reduce agency usage and spend by intelligently scheduling

Covering of daily absence and short notice cover requests

What we are looking for:




Experience of Scheduling/Workforce Planning is essential. Experienced in the use of Time and Attendance systems, experience of Timegate is advantageous. Proficient in the use of IT systems is essential. Experience within the Security industry is desirable. An ability to demonstrate proactive & innovative thinking and introducing this to the workplace. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
