Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily operations on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and supervising experience, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in effective project scheduling.

Supervise and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and quality of work. Coordinate daily activities on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with project timelines. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Utilise Next Minute for project scheduling, tracking progress, and managing resources effectively. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor quality and adherence to specifications. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively. Maintain clear communication with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any potential challenges. Must be able to complete carpentry work to a high standard. Must have good general knowledge of domestic construction and compliances. Must be self motivated and pro-active in the role.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and stakeholders effectively. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on-site.
