About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Working Foreman

to oversee and work hands-on on a ground floor refurbishment project. The role requires both site supervision and active participation in the works.

Project Scope:

Full refurbishment of the ground floor Demolition of the existing patio Careful removal and setting aside of floorboards prior to insulation Installation of insulation between existing joists Reinstatement of existing floorboards Installation of a new WC, including new soil and waste pipe connection to underground drainage Replacement of the staircase from second floor to loft Formation of a structural opening between the living room and dining room

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and coordinating site activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met Working hands-on alongside the team where required Managing trades, deliveries, and day-to-day site operations Reporting progress to the project manager/director

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Working Foreman on residential refurbishment projects Strong knowledge of demolition, insulation, timber flooring, drainage connections, staircase installation, and structural alterations Ability to read drawings and manage site activities efficiently SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) Valid First Aid qualification Good communication and leadership skills
