The Working Supervisor will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective communication between team members and clients, ensuring smooth operations on site.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute construction activities according to project schedules.
Lead and motivate teams of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Manage material deliveries and equipment logistics to maintain workflow continuity.
Report on project progress, issues, and risks to senior management regularly.
Skills
Proven experience in management within construction or engineering environments.
Supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Proficiency in project planning and scheduling.
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
