Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Foreperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and supervising experience. This role is essential for ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
External facade upgrades to four low level blocks of private flats. Open and close site daily, ensure operatives sign in and out daily, induct new persons on site, point of contact for operatives working on site and deliveries, ensure site is tidy. Have tools to be able to assist with some smaller trades that are not being packaged out e.g. cleaning gutters, stripping out rotten timber work with localised making good.
Qualifications
CSCS First Aid Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and management. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 18 weeks
Pay: From 18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
Work Location: In person
