Overview
The role at The Worthing Clinic is to provide a building maintenance service, management of specialists/subcontractors and carry out repair works on behalf of Acorn.
As the Building Supervisor you will have responsibility for consistent and clear communication to the client ensuring they are regularly updated as to the maintenance and reactive activities within the property. You will liaise with sub-contractors and specialists to ensure they fulfil their obligation in carrying out agreed works and provide updates to the client at the time of their site attendance. You will take responsibility to prioritise the statutory and PPM workload at The Worthing Clinic and ensure that all reporting and paperwork is recorded accurately and to provide quotations on further works as required.
Role & Responsibilities
To ensure that the maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with Acorn, current H.V.A.C. standards and any relevant legislation.
To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, consultants and other Acorn personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
The job holder will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently, and to work supportively within a team.
To carry out various reactive tasks on behalf of the site and Facilities Manager.
Punctual site attendance, wearing relevant PPE and clothing issued.
Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports to the client of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work.
Aiding the Savills Customer Care Team (CCTG) in compiling the Monthly report.
Communicating with the Contracts Manager and Customer Care Team on job progression including meetings as required.
Communicating with the Contracts Manager and the CCT on sub-contractor and specialist engineering visits.
Attend regular site progress meetings with the contract's manager, customer and auditors.
Oversee regular building inspections including Acorn, Savills and outside agency audits.
Adapt accordingly to any required changes to the operation of the service delivery as required by Savills FM.
Person SpecificationAbilities:
Sound knowledge of H.V.A.C Industry
Sound knowledge of Building Services
Qualifications:
M&E Relevant Qualification (equivalent to C&G LVL3)
Electrical Qualifications (18th Edition/2391)
Basic PC Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
Trained in Health and Safety i.e. Human Focus
Personal Qualities/Skills:
Good communication skills both written and oral
Good organisational skills
