Job Description

YorLinc delivers high-quality, accredited Workplace Needs Assessments for individuals with disabilities in employment. Our team is committed to removing workplace barriers through evidence-based assessment and practical, person-centred recommendations. We are looking to recruit an experienced Workplace Assessor to join our growing team.

Applicants must have prior experience in the role and hold a relevant undergraduate degree such as (but not limited to) Psychology, Sports Science, Health Sciences, Occupational Therapy etc.

You will conduct Workplace Needs Assessments, produce detailed reports that identify disability-related barriers in employment and recommend adjustments, support, and technology to remove or reduce those barriers.

Assessments are carried out remotely, with occasional in-person visits where required.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver high-quality Workplace Needs Assessments Produce comprehensive reports that include practical, costed recommendations Maintain accurate records and adhere to GDPR and confidentiality standards Provide timely responses to post-assessment queries Stay up to date with best practice, assistive technology, and workplace adjustments Liaise with a range of stakeholders, including funding bodies, employers, and specialist providers Engage in CPD and internal/external training

Essential Criteria:



Previous experience delivering assessments or working with disabled individuals in the workplace A degree in a relevant subject area (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Sports Science, Health Sciences, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and time management Knowledge of assistive technology and ergonomic solutions Understanding of neurodivergence, sensory impairments, or workplace health Ability to interpret medical/disability-related documentation

Conditions of Service and Benefits



There is a 6-month probationary period. DBS Disclosure will be arranged. Normal office opening hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30 am - 4:30 pm on a Friday. Some evening and/or weekend work may be necessary. The company operates a contributory pension scheme in accordance with current legislation. Annual leave is 28 days (including statutory days); Plus, additional days over the Christmas period. Annual private medical insurance is arranged during the first year of employment. This currently includes worldwide travel insurance. Appraisals are conducted to review performance and assess requirements for further development.

Pay: 23,000.00-28,000.00 per year
