We are seeking an organized and proactive Workplace Assistant / Facilities Support Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office facilities and supporting the wider team to foster a productive, safe, and welcoming work environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing office maintenance and repairs, coordinating with external vendors and service providers, managing supplies and inventory, and supporting health and safety compliance. You will supervise cleaning and security contractors, monitor building access, and respond promptly to any facilities-related issues. Additionally, you will assist with office moves, set up meeting spaces, and provide general administrative support as needed.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in facilities management or office administration, and proven supervisory skills. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, basic IT troubleshooting, and a solutions-oriented mindset are highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using facilities management software will be considered an asset.
