Why join us?:
At DWF, we're committed to creating a workplace where every colleague can thrive, feel supported, and perform at their best. As part of our evolving workplace services function, you'll play a key role in keeping our Manchester office running smoothly while benefiting from a clear working hours rota (7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm) Monday to Friday. Joining a friendly and dedicated team, you will help deliver an exceptional colleague and client experience each day, gaining valuable operational and facilities skills within a global organisation.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for staff across our Manchester office, providing exceptional workplace support and ensuring our hubs and operational areas are well-maintained. You will manage stock levels, coordinate working hubs, handle daily staff queries, and support our mail and document processes, including scanning and distributing incoming post with care and confidentiality. You will also provide professional reception cover during periods of leave or of absence, contributing to a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience.
You will play an important role in procurement and workplace administration by raising purchase orders, maintaining shared inboxes, and liaising with clients to uphold service standards. The role also involves supporting our health, safety, and compliance processes including DSE and maternity risk assessments and contributing to effective waste management. In addition, you will liaise with contractors, book maintenance works, and carry out basic hands-on tasks such as replacing light bulbs, moving furniture, and replenishing communal equipment such as coffee machines. A proactive approach to continuous improvement is encouraged as you help maintain a positive and well-functioning workplace environment.
