We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workplace Experience Manager to join our growing team on a 12 month fixed term contract based in central Bristol.

Our Workplace Experience Team are key to the way we manage our workplace. They help us deliver a high-quality workplace experience and curate a sense of community and purpose through our workplace strategy. This is critical to our ways of working where colleagues make a choice about where to work. Coming into a physical building needs to be based around purpose, and that purpose is amplified by a successfully run workplace.?

As a member of the Workplace Experience Team, you will play a key role in making sure colleagues and visitors feel welcome and empowered throughout their time with IOP Publishing.?

What will you be doing?



The Workplace Experience Manager will be responsible for delivering an exceptional employee and visitor experience in the workplace and overseeing the day to day operation of the workplace, hosting and events. The overall purpose is to be a strong brand ambassador for IOPP's high-quality workplace. You will be passionate about creating and curating a vibrant, supportive and efficient working environment that people love coming to, that will help build connections, a sense of community and purpose, and inspire people to do their best work.

Key job accountabilities:



Day-to-day responsibility for workplace hosting ensuring that colleagues and visitors enjoy an excellent experience. Ensure the workplace is presented to a high level being attractive, welcoming and run seamlessly and efficiently for both employees and visitors. Responsible for developing and maintaining a social community around the building, including operating as Chair the 'Socials' committee. Responsible for meeting room support: on-site event and conference facilities set up and clear up, ensuring room technology is working and troubleshooting issues. Managing building suppliers to ensure they deliver against key KPIs and, manage services & supplies. Team champion for Health & Safety and integral in the delivery of health & safety compliance.

About you:



Previous relevant experience in a similar role with juggling priorities and ensuring a large workplace runs smoothly. Experienced line manager Experience hosting and curating a cohesive community for both employees and visitor in a high-quality workplace environment. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills including ability to build productive working relationships, both internal and external, and manage conflicts.
