Job Description
Works Co-ordinator - for Commercial and Domestic Upgrade & Refurbishment Works.
The Works Co-Ordinator is responsible for planning, setting up, and over seeing various works. Values will vary between 1000.00 and 10.000.00.
Applicants must have worked in a previous organisational role, engaging with Customers, Contractors and Suppliers. They will be highly professional and can offer a high level of customer service.
Duties
Receive regular handover briefs, giving a clear understanding of what is required Co-ordinate all aspects of Works to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Support other team members to achieve performance goals as and when required. Produce, maintain and monitor schedules and adjust resources as necessary to meet changing demands. Ensure contractors are provided with CDM and Health and Safety Information to carry out works effectively Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve any operational issues. Prepare reports on a weekly basis capturing successes, challenges and future plans.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar, organisational role, ideally within the construction Industry Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and a diverse team effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry. A commitment to continuous improvement practices and operational excellence.
