Weare seeking to employ an organised, detail-oriented individual to support and assist in the coordination of the administrative and logistical operations of our busy Marina Workshop. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of contact for service requests, scheduling, parts ordering, invoicing and communication between customers, technicians, and management. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our workshop services while delivering outstanding customer support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Administrative Coordination:
Maintain accurate customer records on available systems for all workshop processes.
Process job cards, estimates and invoicing on relevant systems.
Provide support for other business functions as directed by the Workshop Management Team.
Customer Service:
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries regarding ongoing repairs and bookings.
Schedule appointments and co-ordinate technician availability.
Provide regular updates to customers on job progress and expected timelines for completion.
Compliance and Safety:
Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and timelines.
Assist with the management of documentation for inspections, certifications and compliance reporting.
Team Support:
Support workshop technicians with administrative tasks and time tracking as necessary.
Assist with the co-ordination of training, maintenance and equipment servicing schedules.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Qualifications & Experience:
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or workshop management software (e.g. Marina Management Systems and CRM tools).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Familiarity with marine terminology, vessels, and basic mechanical knowledge is preferred but not essential.
