Role Overview
Join our fast-paced workshop team to prepare digital files, operate laser machines, and support manufacturing. You'll help create build instructions and assist with wrapping products before packing. We want someone energetic, organised, and proactive who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and optimise files for laser cutting (training provided; experience preferred).
Operate and maintain laser cutting machines efficiently.
Support writing build instructions using Canva.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues independently.
Keep accurate production and stock records.
Work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
Follow health and safety procedures.
Person Specification
Essential:
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Basic experience or aptitude with laser cutting software (RDWorks or similar).
Some Canva knowledge preferred.
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Energetic, reliable, and well-organised.
Good communication and teamwork.
Own transport required.
Desirable:
Knowledge of education/SEND sector.
Workshop or manufacturing experience.
Experience supporting instruction writing.
