Workshop Assistant
Loom Furniture Limited is an established design and manufacturing company based in Wickwar, South Gloucestershire. The company produce a range of furniture using metal, timber and stone for the residential interior market with the option of customization across its range of products.
Loom are looking to employ a workshop assistant to work within its small team.
Candidate Requirements:
Good organisation skills and punctuality.
Confident with using basic hand tools & light machinery/ power tools.
Must be proactive, self-motivated & use their initiative.
Good attention to detail.
Able to lift furniture items
Able to work within a small team.
Full UK Driving licence.
Happy to drive the company van.
An example of responsibilities will be:
Assisting the production team to construct furniture
Sanding/ preparing metal frames ready for finishing
Take components to and from suppliers using the company van
Wrapping furniture ready for delivery
Hours:
40 hrs p/w (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm) includes 30 minutes per day paid lunch break.Wage:
