Overview


We are seeking a talented and creative Decorator to join our team. in our workshop.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design and detail, with experience in construction painting and a strong ability to communicate effectively in joinery and spray equipment. As a Decorator, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through colour and design, ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for decoration projects. Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, wallpaper, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with precision. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and setup for each project.

Requirements



Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is required for travel to job sites. Attention to detail and a passion for design are essential qualities for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 15.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
