Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems.

Duties



Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines. Utilise power tools and hand tools to diagnose issues and execute repairs. Assemble and maintain components as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Conduct thorough inspections of customers' engines to identify potential problems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. A formal engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural/HGV mechanics Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Familiarity with electrical systems related to diesel engines is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is required.
