Position Summary: Workshop Engineer. This role is essential for preparing,

maintaining, and ensuring the quality and readiness of our equipment through various

engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial

equipment and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Preparation:

Perform engineering tasks to prepare and maintain various equipment for

operational use.

Ensure equipment is prepared to specified standards and project

requirements.

2. Quality Assurance:

Inspect equipment before and after preparation to ensure compliance

with quality standards.

Identify defects or issues and perform necessary rework to meet quality

guidelines.

3. Maintenance and Safety:

Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas

to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective

equipment (PPE) during tasks.

4. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of equipment status, preparation stages, and quality

assurance checks.

Report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the Workshop Manager

promptly.

5. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the operations and maintenance teams to coordinate

equipment preparation schedules and priorities.

Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and

strategies for continuous improvement.

Experience:

Proven experience in equipment preparation and maintenance.

Familiarity with industrial equipment and engineering techniques.

Basic understanding of quality standards and safety regulations in equipment

preparation.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Physically fit and healthy.

Good communication skills.
