Job Description

This role is in our small internal engineer solutions department. We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable engineer fitter. You will be responsible for valve assembly and testing.

Problem solving and finding solutions is how we differentiate ourselves, meaning someone with basic engineering skills is preferable for this role.

Responsibilities

Receiving and processing sales and purchase orders in the warehouse

Valve assembly & testing

Safe operating of machinery

Ensuring warehouse and storage areas are kept safe and maintained for ease of product identification.

Adhering to health and safety within the warehouse environment

Unloading vehicles, inspecting incoming goods for damage or defects, and accurately counting items to verify against delivery notes and purchase orders

Liaise with internal departments on flow of documentation involving stock & contract files

Adhering to discipline within warehouse area for assembly of valves and Forklift & company van allocations

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in valve assembly & testing, or a similar role

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Hands on Mechanical experience

High level of attention to detail

Organised

Forklift Truck Licence

Basic Engineering skills
