: HGV Fitter Required for Commercial Workshop

WE ARE D&G ASSIST, AN ESSEX BASED VEHICLE BREAKDOWN, RECOVERY AND REPAIR SERVICE.

Hourly rate is Negotiable

Offering an opportunity to join our current workshop team as a Commercial Fitter. Salary depended on Experience and Ability. To be agreed but set around:

Full time position Hours: Mon - Fri 7am to 5.00pm and Sat - 8am to 1pm Location: Upminster, Essex Minimum Requirement: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Mechanics; OR Proven Track Record/Experience Negotiable - Competitive hourly rate & Hours to be agreed Must have own tools and able to work on own initiative
We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual with a passion for trucks to join our commercial workshop team. Working on our customers', as well as our own, vehicles and will suit those with a flexible approach to work.

You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, service routines and repairs, preparation of vehicles for MOT and presentation for test. All tasks to be performed to the highest standard.

You'll have sound mechanical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems able to competently diagnose and repair faults in an efficient manner, recording all work on relevant documentation. Holding a C+E licence an advantage.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and well under pressure with a calm, methodical and safe approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 40,000.00 per year
