Packing and general workshop duties
Assembling & Testing of Systems
Ensuring that quality is never compromised even when working under pressure.
Ensure floors are swept and cleaned daily.
Liaise with other workshop team members.
Keep waste store organised and clean.
General housekeeping tasks.
Ensure equipment is cleaned when required.
N.B this list is not exhaustive, the job holder is required to carry out reasonable tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Good standard of secondary level English (either by qualification of experience)
Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Computer literate
Previous experience of working in an engineering /workshop environment.
Eager to assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation
Ability to promote, embrace and manage change
Contribute to a happy working environment
Effective communication
A fork lift truck license would be preferred but not essential
Previous experience of assembly work would be an advantage as would experience in using computer based manufacturing systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25,000.00 per year

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
