About Stone Connection

Formed in 2004, Stone Connection has quickly grown to become one of the UK's largest and most respected companies operating within the stone industry. Specialising in the design, supply, fabrication and installation of natural stones and quartz we are now looking to expand further and are inviting applications to join our team.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 7:00 am until 3:30pm

Your Role:

Learn the processes and machinery throughout the business, working toward being a multiskilled operative Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain a safe working environment Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Assist with all day-to-day processes of the workshop Carry out machinery and plant checks in accordance with maintenance cycle Organisation of the Stores & Yard areas, unloading deliveries of consumables and stone Ability to work unsupervised

What we are looking for:

Experience within a stone fabrication environment or CNC & Saw machinery preferable Willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential Ensuring that manufacturing is of the highest standard with a keen eye for detail Ensuring that tight turnarounds are met in order to meet all production timescales
